1. Introduction

Welcome to Roofing Group Berkshire. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before entering into any contract or agreement with us.
 

2. Services Provided

Roofing Group Berkshire specialises in the installation, repair, and maintenance of pitched roofs, flat roofs, chimney repairs, leadwork, fascias, soffits, guttering, leak detection, and drone surveys. All services are subject to availability and the specific requirements of the client.
 

3. Quotes and Pricing

  • All quotations provided by Roofing Group Berkshire are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

  • Prices may be adjusted if changes are made to the original project specification after the quote has been accepted.

  • A deposit may be required prior to the commencement of work, as specified in the agreed contract.
     

4. Payment Terms

  • Payments must adhere to the payment schedule outlined in the contract prior to the start of the project.

  • Final payment is due upon project completion, unless an alternative arrangement is agreed upon in writing.

  • Late payments may incur interest charges in accordance with UK regulations.
     

5. Installation and Work Schedule

  • Estimated completion dates are provided in good faith but may be affected by external factors such as weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Clients are responsible for providing reasonable access to the site to ensure uninterrupted progress of the work.

  • Any modifications to the agreed project scope must be confirmed in writing and may result in additional charges.
     

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Clients must secure any necessary permissions, such as planning permissions, before work begins, where applicable.

  • All personal belongings must be removed from the work area prior to the start of installation or repair work.
     

7. Warranties and Guarantees

  • All workmanship is covered by a warranty, the duration and terms of which will be agreed upon during project discussions and depend on the materials used and project type.

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to materials where relevant.

  • Normal wear and tear, damage due to improper use, or issues caused by extreme weather conditions are not covered under warranty.
     

8. Liability

  • Roofing Group Berkshire is not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control, including extreme weather, third-party involvement, or supply chain disruptions.

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing ground or structural conditions unless specifically assessed and included in the contract.
     

9. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Clients may cancel a project within 7 days of signing the contract, provided work has not yet commenced.

  • Refunds on deposits will only be issued if cancellation occurs before materials are ordered or work begins.

  • Roofing Group Berkshire reserves the right to cancel or decline a project due to unforeseen circumstances.
     

10. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

  • Any complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of project completion.

  • We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and professionally. If necessary, legal mediation may be pursued.
     

11. Privacy and Data Protection

  • All personal data collected will be handled in compliance with UK Data Protection Laws.

  • Client information will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent.
     

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved under UK jurisdiction.
